Iranian Ex-diplomat Claims His Nation Was Threatened With a Nuclear Attack

Amir al-Mousawi stressed that if a nuclear attack against Iran occurs, the aggressor will have a proportionate response.
Former Iranian diplomat Amir al-Mousawi reported on Wednesday, in an interview with Arab media outlet Al Mayadeen, that his nation received threats of a nuclear attack.

He also stressed that, if a nuclear attack were to be launched against Iranian territory, the aggressor would have a proportionate response.
In this regard, al-Mousawi said that those who issued the threats were given much more forceful answers.
He also called for the unsubstantiated allegations of alleged Iranian «cowardice» to be ignored.
Al-Mousawi stressed the Iranian ability to neutralize the Zionist entity and its partners, with all their power.
Earlier, Iranian President Masoud Mezikian stated that “if the Westerners are seeking to avoid insecurity in the region, they should immediately stop supporting the Zionists”.
The President issued a warning regarding concern about the escalation of conflict in the region following the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political office of the Hamas movement.
“Iran considers avoiding war and trying to establish world peace and security as one of its fundamental principles, but within the framework of international treaties and laws, will never remain silent in the face of violations of its interests and security”, Mezikian said.
